Ajna, Brow Chakra is located in the center of the forehead also known as the first eye. Ajna is described as a transparent lotus flower with two petals. The seed-sound is AUM.
Its functions are intuition mastery, vision revelations, dreams and thought manifestation. The first eye chakra internally guides the pineal and pituitary glands through the endocrine system.
The individual with mastery over this center achieves psychic and occult powers that defy all limits. This is the most powerful center—it is the meeting place of Ida, Pingala, and Sushumna.
Awareness of this sense is within the realms of the unseen. To access this sense for intention usually involves meditation for the novice or waking trance for the enlighten beings. Balancing this chakra enhances physic perception. An unbalanced first eye chakra portrays fear, cynicism, poor concentration and constant tension. One can also experience bad dreams, headaches and eye problems when the first eye is imbalanced.
This chakra stands for the ability to stay focused, to see the whole picture, and to look beyond what’s in front of us. Connected with the third eye chakra are issues concerning imagination, intuition, wisdom and the decision-making process. It also covers emphatic skills, self-realization and the ability to learn from past mistakes and move forward with no emotional baggage.
